Cancellation Policy & Scheduling Changes
We plan our flights carefully, never overbooking. When you reserve a spot, we guarantee space in the balloon for you and your group. If a flight is fully booked, we regretfully have to decline new customers. Last-minute changes can disrupt our schedule and inconvenience other passengers. That's why we have a flexible cancellation policy to ensure everyone's peace of mind.
- Cancellations or reservation changes at least 48 hours prior to the meeting time are permitted. Perhaps plans have changed or there is a scheduling conflict that has come up? That's perfectly fine - just give us a little bit of notice and there's no penalty whatsoever.
- Cancellations within12 hours of the meeting time will result in forfeiture of any pre paid deposit, or the equivalent amount pre-charged to the credit card on hold if applicable.
- Should you fail to show up at the scheduled meeting time, the full flight fare will be due. Failing to show up at all - or arriving late enough to miss the flight - is considered a "no-show." Person holding flight reservations on a Gift Certificate shall be considered flown, making the Gift Certificate "Void" for future use.
- Our Balloons are US federally licensed and registered aircraft, are fully US insured and adhere to all FAA regulations. Some FAA limitations may apply. Snohomish Ballooning, LLC dba Arizona Balloon Flights will make every attempt possible within the balloon’s flight characteristics and applicable FAA regulations to complete the balloon flight, weather permitting, however due to the size and complexity of hot air balloons, operations cannot take place in all weather conditions. Should adverse weather conditions exist, the Pilot may exercise his right to cancel and or abort the flight. The Pilot in command has full, final and complete authority as to any and all operations that can be attempted. Arizona Balloon Flight will make the best effort possible however there is no guarantee of any operation or duration of flights. We reserve the right to cancel flight operation for any reason. Last minute cancelations are possible. Refunds are not automatically generated due to the large demand for rebooking. If your flight is canceled by us for any reason, please request a refund if desired.

Our meeting time is approximately 30 minutes before official sunrise for all morning hot air balloon rides in Phoenix/Scottsdale .
All Flights
- You will be notified at the time you make your reservation of the meeting time. It is a meeting time, not a take-off time. There is no need to arrive early.
- Meeting Site can change based on seasonal time period. You will be notified of the location when you make the reservation.
- If you need directions, are lost, or are running late, call us directly anytime.
Late Arrival and "No Show"
Please allow extra travel time for traffic. Late arrivals will count as a "No Show" unless all other passengers flying in the balloon are willing to delay launch for your arrival (not likely!)
Notifications and Communication
- You will get a confirmation email from us at time of booking. It will include the meeting arrival time (the time listed is not take-off time), the meeting location and any important instructions. You will also get a reminder email that will additionally include answers to frequent last minute questions. Please be sure to read all emails we send you.
- Phoenix's hot air ballooning weather usually cooperates throughout the year. In case of unfavorable conditions that might lead to a flight cancellation, we'll aim to reach out to you in advance of your scheduled meeting time, generally with-in 2 hours of your scheduled meeting time. Otherwise, if you do not hear from us, plan to call and check on the status of your flight 1 to 1/2 hours of your scheduled meeting time. Please plan to arrive at the designated meeting spot on time. Remember the motto: "No News Is Good News." We'll only get in touch if there's a change or if we need to cancel.
- Be sure to give us a valid cell phone number and permission to text you at the time of booking so we can inform you of any last minute changes or cancellation. We do not want your driving out for no reason!
